Server Is Starting Again

So I started a local machine server at my apartment since we don't have a constant stream of internet. Doing that caused me to go back into a minecraft addiction. 

The Old Map has been lost to the wastes. The one file I found of it was a old old version, that being said I apologize for losing our world.

The upside being that we get to start fresh. I've been exploring and looking for a good starting location on the new server. It's got awesome Biomes and I think I found a ocean.

 I get paid on the 1st of July. So hopefully internet and server will follow.

The Return of Colin

Its been a little bit since i've gotten on but tonight I will be at work doing a minecraft all nighter for my work. Mike and the kids will probably make a awesome something and I can learn a few tips and tricks from them. Hope to see you guys this week on the server. I'll be posting the map update this weekend.

Updated World Map

So this is the new updated map. Ive restarted in drawing it for the sake of quality. I won't restart this again I'll just revise from now on.

"Chunky" (the background satellite imagery of Infinitas Infinitio.) hasn't been updated yet. So stay tuned for the updated chunky map in the background.

Conversations With A Co-Worker

Talking to my coworker a bit ago I remembered a conversation him and I had about how each minecraft game you always start out with a hole, then a hut, then a home, then fort, then castle, then always a compound. I added the Domain thanks to Mystcraft.

Lan Night this Saturday

So everyone can show up saturday night. Just bring a

• Computer (Desktop / Laptop)
• Monitor if Desktop
• Keyboard if Desktop
• Mouse
• Power Cable
• Ethernet cable if you have one
• Fun / Excitement

The wireless in my house does work, but nothing like the ethernet connection.

Minecraft LAN Night Information:

When: Friday (March 15th) or Saturday (March 16th) Night? (which ever night works better for the majority.)

Where: Colin's House. Contact me for address if you don't know it or for ride.

What to Bring: Anything you need to play Minecraft. Food, Money, Water, Mouse, Keyboard, Etc.

Time: 9pm to 9am: of course you can crash on my couch if need be.


Extra Supplies That I have:

• A Awesome Desktop Computer that if anyone wants to use over there  laptop/desktop the one with the biggest offset will get that.

• 2 Monitors, I have to use on for my desktop but the other small guy could be used. (used to use him for traveling with my desktop to lan parties.)

• Extra Mice, Extra Keyboards.

• A Ethernet LAN Box. (20 connections possible)

• 2 extra Ethernet cables in case you don't have one.

Why Host a Lan Night?
I think it's time for an open exchange of mod information and game info. Everyone has mastered a little bit of each mod and now there is just too much info. Having a minecraft Lan night would really help with getting everyone comfortable with the new minecraft. 

Plus its way more fuckin' fun with other people in the same room.

And It's been 2 years since I had one.

How to Join to Server: "GregTech" Mod pack Disabled

Step One:
Click on Edit ModPack. The button right above the list of mods.

Step Two:

Click on "GregTech" To highlight the mod. Then click the disable button in the center. Your screen should look like the picture on the left.

After that go back to the launch menu and click "Launch". Your set to join.

Server News

So we now know that when the server crashes the possibility of the world not saving is there. Now the world will save every 30 minutes with a message reminding the players that lag might happen. Worst case scenario now is you lose changes done within the last 30 minutes.

Sorry for the inconveniences but you have to learn about the problems before you fix them.

World Saved Incorrectly

So when the server went down it didn't do a correct save of the world chunks. I was missing my quarry changes but the location and items of my player were the same. 

I am sorry if this ruined any thing. This is the first time I know of this happening so next time will give the server a little bit more time before we shut it down.

Mod Confirmation

If your wondering why the wiki's on certain mod's don't match with the actual game play our friend Jeremy has figured it out. Feed the beast uses certain beta stage mods, currently we are using the new possibly beta Equivalent Exchange and Mystcraft (However I did find an updated wiki for Mystcraft). 

Had a lot of fun last weekend. If anyone needs help getting started I can show you the basics of Industrial craft so your ore output is doubled and that helps with the difficulty. Or Survive on your own because this is a survival server.

Updated World Map

So here is the starting to the Hand drawn world Map. I've only finished the basic Land VS. Water lines.  Then I placed a yellowish gold dot on every city so later I can doodle them in. 

I would really appreciate it if someone helped me explore uncharted territory. Some people already have so Kudos to them!

I will not draw small ponds on the map. If it looks like a lake or a large pond then it is considered.
